Salon Coordinator
Job Description

The Salon Coordinator is the face and heartbeat of Lex Nail Bar & Esthetics. This team member ensures every guest receives a warm welcome, seamless visit, and five-star experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, professional, highly organized, and passionate about creating a luxury experience for every guest—while supporting the smooth daily operations of the salon and team.

Pay and Schedule

Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 10–40 hours per week (Full-time or Part-time)

Follow all Lex Nail Bar & Esthetics protocols and procedures, which include, but may not be limited to:

  • Greet and check in each guest with professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm.

  • Ensure every guest receives a seamless check-in, check-out, and rebooking experience.

  • Process all transactions accurately, handling payments and tips responsibly.

  • Communicate clearly and kindly with guests, nail technicians, and salon leadership.

  • Promote salon services, memberships, and retail products in a natural, helpful way.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk, lobby, and retail area.

  • Adhere to all salon cleanliness and safety standards, including sanitation and disinfection protocols.

  • Manage daily appointment schedules, ensuring smooth service flow for the team.

  • Confirm appointments, manage last-minute changes, and notify staff promptly of updates.

  • Assist with guest inquiries by phone, text, or email with prompt, professional responses.

  • Keep the salon’s professional image consistent—presentation, tone, and environment should always reflect Lex Nail Bar & Esthetics’ high standards.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Complete back-of-house and salon support tasks throughout the day, which include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assist in maintaining salon cleanliness: wipe surfaces, refresh restrooms, tidy waiting areas, and sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly.

  • Reset and restock stations between guests.

  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry (towels, linens, etc.).

  • Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and staff areas.

  • Disinfect and store tools properly in accordance with salon health and safety standards.

  • Monitor and restock back bar, beverages, and supply items as needed.

  • Support team members with setup and breakdown at opening and closing.

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts for retail and back bar items, and communicate shortages to management.

Provide guests with utmost hospitality, customer service, and engagement, which includes, but may not be limited to:

  • Create a warm, polished, and welcoming environment for every guest.

  • Assist guests in product selection and education about services or treatments.

  • Offer beverages or comfort items to enhance the guest experience.

  • Handle guest concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating to management when needed.

  • Support the salon team in maintaining a smooth guest flow throughout the day.

  • Contribute to the salon’s social media, marketing, and promotional efforts through professional guest interactions and personal brand representation.
